Naseeruddin Shah chastised the Khans of Bollywood for remaining silent on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokespersons Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal's recent blasphemous remarks about the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
In an interview with NDTV, the Gehraiyaan actors stated that speaking on the subject would "risk too much" for Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan.
He told the outlet, “I cannot speak for them. I am not in the same situation as they are. I believe they believe they are taking too big a risk. But I'm not sure how they explain it to their own conscience."
