When 'Veeres' Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania's fashion picks saddened us

Fashion is a tricky place to be. Not everyday will be a sunshine in this category and there will be occasions when your picks will fail to flatter. As weird as it may sound but Sonam Kapoor has consistently disappointed us with her styling throughout her Veere Di Wedding promotions, and this coming from a fashionista is quite saddening. Obviously we don't expect our actresses to secure full marks for each of their outings, but we wonder if the blunders could have been avoided. As the Raanjhanaa actress said in her recent interview that she's not bothered about anyone who criticises her fashion taste and no one should, yet we would appeal to her to notice it. After all, these messages or comments are from her die hard fans who wish to see her slay always. Anyway, joining her in the worst dressed category this week are her co-stars, Swara Bhasker, Shikha Talsania with Lara Dutta and Patralekha. Let's elaborate on how they went wrong and where.
Sonam Kapoor

What was the attire really? Honestly, the first thing that came our mind after seeing Sonam step out from her car in that dress was that she'll change it soon. We believed it wasn't her promotional look, and she will change into something else. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The loose pink curtain like attire from Shruti Sancheti was unflattering from all the possible angles and we wonder why Sonam even picked it. 
Shikha Talsania

The one - off shoulder Masaba Gupta outfit did nothing to justify Shikha Talsania's fun personality. We admire the way she decided to up her ante to match up to Sonam and Kareena during VDW promotions, but her recent pick was just a big disappointment.
Swara Bhasker 

What happened to this otherwise glamorous girl? Swara Bhasker's fashion styling for Veere Di Wedding was at par with Kareena Kapoor Khan and we loved her hot transformation. We were digging her different looks until she stepped out looking so pale. The actress never picked something as boring as this outfit from the House of Kotwara and we wonder what she was even thinking! .
Lara Dutta

Which year are we living in? 2001? No, Lara! It's 2018 and no one wears this fabric anymore. The wine colour Namrata Joshipura one off shoulder gown is so early 2000. Sorry to say, but Lara needs to fire her stylist ASAP.

Patralekha

Patralekha had quite a decent fashion run during the promotions of Nanu ki Jaanu. Unfortunately her pick for GQ 100 Best Dressed event was a nightmare. The Lecoanet Hemant off-shoulder gown has an extremely unflattering silhouette and it didn't accentuate Patralekha's svelte figure at all..
