OnePlus 6 will have a heart rate sensor
People are getting pretty serious about the fitness and smartphone makers are also encashing the same by including health and fitness related sensors like pedometer and heart rate sensor. According to a new teaser released by OnePlus, the upcoming OnePlus 6 smartphone is expected to house a heart rate sensor, similar to the one found on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the S9+.

OnePlus has shared a new teaser image on the Chinese social media site Weibo, which hints that the OnePlus 6 could have an inbuilt heart rate sensor. However, as of now, there is no information on the placement of the heart rate sensor what so ever. Considering the Samsung Galaxy S9, the heart rate sensor is likely to be placed near the camera/fingerprint sensor for easy the ease of accessibility.
Design
The OnePlus 6 will be the 2nd smartphone from the company to have an all-glass design after the OnePlus X. However, this time the OnePlus 6 will have a premium finish which will be comparable to the other flagship smartphones. The OnePlus 6 is also following the likes of the Apple iPhone X and the OnePlus 6 is also the first smartphone from OnePlus to have a notch on the top of the display.
Specifications
The OnePlus 6 is expected to have top of the line flagship specifications. According to leaks and rumours, the device will be run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-core chipset with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB storage. Like every other OnePlus smartphone, the 6 monikers is also expected to skip the micro SD card slot.
Camera
The smartphone will have a dual primary camera setup, similar to the OnePlus 5T. According to leaks, the OnePlus 6 will have a 20 MP + 16 MP camera setup with features like auto HDR, 4K video recording with EIS and portrait mode. The phone is also expected to have a 16MP front-facing selfie camera with face unlocking capability.
Pricing
Going by the previous pricing of OnePlus smartphones, the OnePlus 6's entry-level model with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage is expected to be priced less than Rs 35,000 in India. However, the premium Avengers edition with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is expected to cost anywhere around Rs 45,000 price mark.
