Baahubali 2 witnesses a huge dip on its 1st Monday at the Chinese box office
Prabhas and Anushka Shetty starrer Baahubali 2, which shattered many box office records in the Indian market has failed to mark its presence at the Chinese box office. After remaining on the lower side in its opening weekend, the magnum opus witnessed a huge dip on its first Monday in China. The action-adventure fantasy raked in around Rs 6.80 crore and currently stands with the total business of Rs 58 crore.
The collections are literally below expectations, especially if we consider its domestic run in the last year. Looking at the current scenario, we think the film will struggle to even cross the Rs 100 crore mark there.

Since Avengers: Infinity War is releasing this Friday in the Chinese market, Baahubali 2 will face a huge crunch at the ticket windows. With the help of China collections, the film now stands with the worldwide total of Rs 1760 crore, which makes it the second highest Indian global grosser after Aamir Khan's Dangal, which had earned over Rs 1200 crore in the Chinese market alone. Directed SS Rajamouli, the film also stars Rana Daggubati, Tamannah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj and Nassar in key roles.

Baahubali 2 was released in over 7000 screens in China, making it the second widest Indian release there after Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan. While we were expecting the film will achieve Rs 2000 crore mark with the help of its box office performance in China, but looking at the lukewarm response, we don't think the film will achieve this milestone. Anyway, do you think Baahubali 2 will at least earn over Rs 100 crore in China? Share your thoughts in the comments section below....
